? Lead the project engineering team to support the project manager to complete the project successfully in safely, within timing and budget, with a high quality. Assure all activities are comply with company compliance policies, and related regulations 

? Be responsible to deliver the engineering package, prepare the specifications for equipment which incorporate the best practice inside business and meet the local regulation and standards, also comply with the company standards. 

? Develop construction & installation quality standards and to ensure they are met during construction & installation stage. 

? Develop quality acceptance check list by stages and to ensure the construction & installation quality are met in the previous stage then allow them to carry on to the next stage. 

? Demand the contractor to rework if quality standards are not met. 

? Demonstrates accountability for business, and company objectives. Integrates and develops production processes that meet business needs across the organization. 

? Develop conceptual assessment of expansion projects. Prepare technical concepts, technical descriptions, technical proofreading and technical specifications for projects. Troubleshooting for technical issues according to the operations requirements 

? Set technical specifications in selection of equipment and construction suppliers. 

? Be responsible to support project manager to coach project team and contractors work and activities to assure the project going smoothly. 

? Support project manager of contract reviews to identify & manage risks, monitor operational performance against the agreed timescales, and instigates corrective actions where appropriate 

? Perform site supervision during project execution; supervise the construction and engineering services in order to ensure the quality of the projects which meet the related regulations and standards, the respect of the planned dates. 

? Carry out other project related assignments from project manager. 

Qualifications Required: 

? University or above with engineering or construction background 

? 6 years engineering working experience, with project management experience, in plastics or chemical plant is an advantage. 

? Have good sense of EHSS . 

? Sound communication and inter-personal skills, team player 

? Hands on CAD drawing, and able to read the P&ID. 

? Be familiar with the industry standards for infrastructure and engineering, etc. 

? Be familiar with project management in the planning, progress, cost and suppliers control. 

? Sound knowledge and experience on the budgeting, project management and construction regulations 

? With fair amount of knowledge on civil, building, electrical & mechanical engineering is preferred. 

? Strong organizing, coordination, project management skills, able to deal with emergency situations. 

? Independence in the management of the projects (cost, quality, schedule, SHE). 

? Be capable to organize the phase acceptance for project 

? Good at decision making. 

? Broad and sound mechanical experience in chemical industry. 

? Willing to work under the pressure and complete challenging tasks. 

? Willing to coach and share knowledge and best practice within team. 

? Fluent English both in oral and writing, strong presentation skills. 

? Demonstrated strong trouble-shooting skills and problem-solving abilities. 

? Strong analytical skills, detail oriented with demonstrated multi-tasking ability.
